In a recent article in the Philadelphia Business Journal, Premier Urgent Care was ranked #1 as the Philadelphia Region’s Largest Urgent Care Provider based on the average number of patients treated per week. With Emergency Room visits on a decline by up to 5-10%, urgent care centers have been increasing their patient volumes every year with non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses due to the convenience and lower waiting times. Our chief operations officer, Rick S. Grodin explains in the article that, “We try to get every patient registered and in an exam room in 15 minutes, and on their way within 45 minutes. That’s why they come to us. They don’t want to spend three hours in an emergency room.”
With the volume of patients we see each day we do our very best to treat every patient with compassion as well as efficiency from the moment you sign in at the front desk to when the you are being seen by one of our board-certified physicians. Our modern, clean and comfortable facilities are equipped with state-of-the art digital X-ray imaging and EKG equipment. We perform lab work, IV therapy, and dispense medicine on site. Premier treats all complex evaluations including lacerations, complex wounds, sprains, broken bones, burns, dehydration, asthma attacks and the flu.
We plan to continue to provide our quality of care to the Great Philadelphia Region as well as Southeastern New Jersey and Delaware. With two more centers opening by October in Princeton, NJ and Wynnefield, PA we expect to make a difference in each of these communities and provide quality care to your families. Make sure to visit one of our centers the next time you have a non-life-threatening health emergency.
